Construction Staking

Construction staking, also known as a “construction layout,” involves placing stakes in the ground to mark the locations of planned elements. By using construction blueprints, we determine exactly where each feature will be located. Our team is equipped with both hard copies and digital versions of the authorized construction plans and blueprints, allowing us to accurately set curb stakes, building stakes, grade stakes, or any other markers specified in the plans.

Our group provides accurate and timely land surveying services. To assist you in budgeting for the cost of your boundary survey and creating a timeframe for your project, we offer free estimates. Please call if you are a builder and ask about our pricing.

What Purpose Does a Construction Layout Serve?
When analyzing project plans, construction layouts are utilized to direct the building process and prevent costly mistakes. They serve as a signal for:

  • Electrical components
  • Sewage pipes
  • Roads
  • General building structures, such as residences and offices
  • Corner markings
  • Real estate lines
  • Setbacks
  • Goods Piles

Construction stakes come in two different varieties:

Construction staking: A precise approach for guiding actual construction on a site.

Staking rough construction: This approach demonstrates site enhancements, such as slopes and grading
The outcome is used by a homeowner or contractor to expedite the construction of whatever they are planning, ensure that it complies with setback specifications, and ensure that it remains securely on the land.
